i'm in the same boat... i'm going to buy new. but i believe that the WRX and the RS timing belts are different due to the timing differences between turbo and NA
since you're in that area you'll need to replace other things as well... i've been doing research and someone posted this list that i'll share with HIIC
you'll also in addition to this list require the other belts on this engine since you're there and going to replace the timing belt anyway!
Good luck. If you need help I'm down (if i can get off of work)!
Jon

Jon hit it on the head, i believe i changed most if not all those things when i did my timing belt, which may i add sucks, but worth the hassle. good post jon its good to remind those who "dont know" that there are other things to look at besides keeping the car running with a new timing belt.
Sup Ralph,
I remember a time when I was in a pinch. I fried an ignition coil and one super cool guy gave me two of his coils and expected nothing in return.
I have a brand new PE belt and I don't intend to install it. It's boxed somewhere in my in-laws warehouse. I'll find it first thing after work tomorrow, around 5 ish and I'll drop it off to you.
Shoots,
Chris

First off...
myron:
Thanks for the hustle! If you guys need parts check myron out first as he is down to help out a fellow I-clubber!
Jon:
thanks for those part numbers I think that I have most of the gaskets and will need to get the water pump, thermostat and bearing. I need to pick up those three parts before I go ahead with the wrenching and will let you know when and how it goes.
Chibby,
First off I just wanted to welcome you back ( late as it may be) and am glad that you are safe! Thanks alot for the belt before you called me last night I had almost bought one from a friend and would have been taken for a ride on the price. I owe you big time and will find a way to catch you back.
Good looking out guy's!
Aloha,
Ralph
