when BMW/MINI damaged my Advans, they were going to send it to Dent Doctors to get it fixed. supposedly, their wheel guys are really good at color matching and repairing damaged wheels. might wanna check them out. (i opted for cash and ran a damaged wheel.)

17"X7.5" wheels and 225/45/17 SO-3's.

They fit a WRX with BIG BRAKES or an STi.

I guess I'll bump this "saga" from the grave.

After a bunch of research, I'm taking the BBS to get powdercoated today...still don't know what color I'm going to get them yet.

Dan, would you mind posting some links to what you found out about powder coating? I want to powder coat my wheels. Jerimiah did his, and has no ploblems. I agree with his thinking that your brakes get hotter on the track than the "baking" does.

I don't have any links...I talked to a lot of different "Smart" people. They all said the about the same thing. "It shouldn't hurt them at all."

Here's a crappy pic of the color I'm having the wheels done in. They call it Black Chrome...it looks more like a titanium.
