hi im having a problem with my 07 wrx overboosting in 3rd and up when it hits about 4k... anyone have any help or idea whats wrong with my car???

 

Is your car stock or modded? Can you give some more details?

 

I actually had that happen once or twice myself, usually under WOT and only going up hill....I think it has something to do with the air density changing so drastically, but I could be cray cray.

4k is a little early though...mine hits me at 5k IF it does it at all...

 

Does the rpm shoot up fast but speedo lack just a bit?
