What's up fellas. I've had my 04 WRX for about 2 months now. Damn different from my Civic. So far I have the basics like a cat-back, intake and timer. Where should I go next? There's soooo much stuff out there! What's junk and what's not?

Oh I do know to stay away from WMR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome!

Modding a WRX is not like a Civic where you can go I/H/E and make substantial gains. I would read alot about the WRX in the forums to start. You can't just slap on mods and expect gains or faster times. The faster guys here in HIIC meticiously decided on what route they want to go and because of that, they run faster than those who just decided to put on the most parts as possible and expect gains. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, but I would not be afraid to post on the general forums.

Sounds like you've got your head on right.

Where you go next depends on what you want from your car. Maybe you could elaborate for us.

Daymn Wes, you'll be knocking on 12-flats now!

Whatever you wanna do Rich is your choice. All show no go? Some show all go? All go no show? Some go some show? Whatever floats your boat.

Performance wise, do you want more low end or more high end? Burn corners like Tsuchiya? Suck at cornering like me?

I would say up-pipe/downpipe so as to be catless, large power gains to be had here...

I concur with Steve! Also, add a larger rear sway bar.
