Have I ever told anyone that back in Indiana, in my pop's garage, I have a 1964 Triumph TR-4?
He and I have talked about getting it back to stock so that I could race it in the vintage races that I had first heard about when I was a Private and got a part time job working as a security guard at Laguna Seca Racetrack. I guess you have to keep the car relatively stock. But I've also thought about the possibilities of a small car, big engine....

The car is now an absolute ball to drive! It handles extremely well with an abundance of torque and horsepower. It has run a best of 13.7 @ 105mph in the1/4 mile. (Spinning one tire a good distance down the track.) I really need that other rear-end installed to have a chance of making a low 13-second (or better) pass.

my sister, dad, and grandfather restored a Triumph Spitfire.
I forget the year though, I'll find out though.
They brought it home from the junkyard, a non-rolling chassis, and rebuilt it to showcar quality. Only problem it used to overheat like a ****...and she was forced to sell it, since she used to paddle at Ala Moana, and she'd always get stranded out there.
Or if your ever over at my place, you can ask her about it. I'm sure she'd love to tell ya about it

Pro-street: (I think this engine is a bit bigger than what I'd like to do.

Sure Wes. Was it a long time ago? Is she real smart about cars, because I've got a lot of questions about that project.
I have given some thought to what it would take to drop the 2.0 boxer engine into my TR4.
Here's a project where someone has attempted something similar.
