Lots of parts..Help with install reccomendations.

Been saving up and building my parts pile up and finally have all my parts.... For now. Want to know if anyone has reccomendations on who to go to for installing. I'm alright with cars (mostly older muscle cars) but I'm pretty intimidated with my STI.
I currently have in my stockpile to install:
Blouch dominator 1.5XTR turbo
AEM meth injection kit
Walbro fuel pump
Turbo timer
Larger TMIC
Perrin EBCS
Injectors
I was wondering if anyone knows of a good subie tech/mechanic to take it too. I am interested in learning as well if anyone wants to throw some tips my way... lessons learned. May start trying to install a few things on my own over the next week or so. Primarily nervous with the injectors and turbo. Thanks for the help.

Easiest part=ebcs
IMO dumbest part=turbo timer
Part that makes you look cool when gettin outta your car=turbo timer.

Thanks, I figured I would start with that (EBCS) and the fuel pump myself. Looking to probably have someone /shop install the injectors and maybe turbo. Wanted to do it all at once (turbo-injectors). Anyone reccomend shops out here or mobile mechanics?

search tool this forum but i would take a look at streamline performance. Are you military? I see your in Kbay. If so hit up the hobby shop onbase and those guys like helping. You can so do it all youself if you have a garage at home or whatnot.

All of its rather simple just go on nasioc and do some research on DIY. The only thing I would probably wait on would be the ebcs. I would wait till right before youre on the Dyno because some require retuning to get them to run right

I am military, i usually go to the Hickam AFB hobby shop. That's why I wanted to try to do it all in a weekend. Just nervous to tear into it avoid some unforeseen issue if they arise. I do have a enclosed garage but was hoping to use a lift to ease the difficulty. I was planning to retune, I have a Cobb tuning setup but know I will have to create new maps and tune it. I have never been to Kbay auto port, I may go check it out. I appreciate the tips, very helpful please keep em coming!

I agree with everyone on doing most yourself since you're new to fuel injection and Subaru's in general. The installs should be fairly easy and you'll get hands-on experience if you conquer it!

We do have a couple TRUSTWORTHY and GREAT Subaru Certified Mechanics-

Jimi - Juniorsti (iclub name)
Chad - Spinplay01 (iclubname)

PM them on here, if not I have their contact info, I can refer you to them when needed.

Good luck!

OH yeah good catch Issac on the EBCS. I forgot to mention the tune required. Cobb can hit up with maps for the setup or a safety map. NOTE- Dont use and EBCS and boost controller inconjunction as they cancel each other out.

The hickham one is WAYYYYYY better than the Kbay one I just was going off your location listed under avatar.

+1 on Jimi and Chad.

They do? try telling that to the thousands that do this as an extra failsafe for over boosting. Trying doing a search on Hybrid Boost Control you will be surprised on what you learn.

Also make sure you don't pinch the packings for your injectors. Good way to test is after they're installed turn the car to the on position but do not start the car. You will
Know if you have a leak

Wow thanks for the knowledge. I always though it was pointless because the EBC will just adjust to the tuned boost if the MBC tries to go over........ thanks now you found a reason for me to buy a MBC damnit!

That's what I'm worried most about (injectors). I'm sure I will figure it out. I plan to go to Hickam, use the lift and make it easier to drop the tank and lower the exhaust. With all the tune talk, what places are recommended? What about online(email maps)? Streamline performance mentioned above? I drive daily from Kaneohe to pearl harbor, im a bit concerned if I don't have immediate access to a new tune map. Again I appreciate everyone's comments, suggestions and tips.

Well if it helps at all I will be making trips to kbay around 0700 everyday next week (except monday) so you can get working and I can give a ride. Only prob is I have no real set time off. Usually 1200 or on occasion 1400 so maybe we can work something out

The injectors will be fine as long as you have a base map and they are stupid easy to install.

The you dont need to drop the tank to install the fuel pump.

Talk to Jimi, i hate him with a passion but the **** sucker knows his stuff. he can also help you with the base map and tune bs. Jimi FTW!
