the tacho and a couple gauges took a crap, no sweat though. might be loose connections. started really rich but i smoothed it out afterwards. now i gotta get paperwork done to get it on the road.

thanks for your comments guys. i just hope i can pass safety, that's another hurdle for me. i guess the problem was simply wiring. so with that said, for the love of god, if you love your cars dearly, do not, repeat DO NOT overlook wiring, especially grounds. it was worth going through the trouble finding culprit wires by ripping out my entire interior, but doing it right the first time can save you hours/weeks/or months. i'm also getting vanity plates so that might take me longer to get it on the road.
