Question Advice needed...

I'm looking to get a camcorder to tape my runs. I'm trying to choose between the Sony DCR-TRV33 and the Sony DCR-TRV38. Which one would you chose

I chose the TRV33 over the 38... I believe the difference is the bigger LCD display and the camcorder being slightly bigger!

Difference is not just the bigger LCD display which is a big CON if you're looking for battery life. The advantage that the 38 has over the 33 is that of the focus ring. If you're a point and shoot guy, get the 33. If you want the focus ring, get the 38. I don't really see why people want a bigger LCD on their cameras since battery life is a big thing to me.

i'd say get the smaller one. i wouldn't want a big camera next to my head during runs that could get in the way(that is if you mount it inside your car)

unless you want the view them right after then the larger LCD would be best. if you want to check it out later then get the smaller one.

thanks...

I went to Circuit City and took a look at both of them. And the 38 won. I really like the manual focus ring. It will be easier to keep the focus inside the car.
