I think the oil return on turbo is leaking, discovered a torn cv boot, I took tranny out so residual fluid spilled on me, and it's just plain dirty under my car

 

Torn CV's make such a ****ing mess, **** those things.

 

word of advice, get a gallon of simple green, spray the crap out of it, get a toilet brush and scrub scrub scrub, then shoot with high pressure water. my miata gets dirty waaay too often... lol

 

I thought I had a valve cover leak and it was the CV. +1 for fixing that and cleaning it up.

The oil pickup is the most wrench-worthy. It's a mod you don't see all the time, but is worth it especially if you drive your car hard alot. Think about it, the stock pickup has only one support that is very weak and the tube is brazed, not welded. Just sayin...
