All,

Ive got a downpipe to install and it is a little way over my skill level. i could probably rent the proper tools and read tutorials all day but in the end i may(will) screw it up. A shop will be my last option.

Anybody with experience installing a downpipe would be greatly appreciated as well as compensated

Would love to help but I am in Korea. But someone will chime in shortly. Plenty of guys in here that can do them in an hour or less if not bothered by man talk and beer.

 

Easy day bro. Could 12mm maybe 14mm wrenches and sockets, jack and stands, replacement turbo to downpipe crush gasket (recommended), PB Blaster, and patience. Should be an easy thing. OEM is mounted to the car at turbo, tranny, and again at tranny. Unbolt all and your golden. BBBBBBBBBBUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT Thats on a 02-07 so I dunno about that 2011

 

Same thing, nothings really changed except a few of those nasty heat shielding bolts.
i would think you don't need buttloads of PB blaster on the bolts if its an '11. Lets hope so at least

 

ill most definitely try but i dislocated my shoulder during my air assault pretest, hopefully those bolts turn with ease
