Good tire repair place?

Well looks like a nail decided to up and penetrate my tire. i was able to use a tire repair kit and plug the hole and get it inflated again. It's holding pressure and nice and sealed but i still wanna get it repaired before i consider buying just 1 new tire. Plus i wanna get it fixed before auto-x this weekend. Anybody know of any good tire repair place on island? And how much am i looking at? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Well ANY place that sells tires would be able to repair it. From your previous posts you like firestone on shafter, take it there. Honestly I wouldn't even waste my time though as long as you put a plug in it. If you used that liquid crap then that's another story.

Its the liquid stuff with the two picks and those molding adhesive strip things. From previous threads i found here its seems like the general opinion is that yeah plugs or the liquid stuff are durable and what not, but im concerned about the inner wall. Its not on the side wall and on the tread so at least i know its salvageable. I was considering Firestone but i was hoping to see if anyone knew of any good places from experience.

I'm running a plugged tire right now. I'm pretty sure I put more miles/day than anybody here PLUS autocross. I say you're alright. If peace of mind is what you're looking for, then try the places mentioned earlier. Good luck!

A bit of advice if you end up replacing the tires. You should replace both tires unless the other tire is brand new.

Thats the one off Nimitz yeah?

And since its the general consensus that its not bad at all to ride on a plugged tire i think ill most likely just end up doing that anyway. Thanks for the input guys!

LOL I feel bad for the guy replacing the tire. I hated people who used that **** cause all it does is make a mess when you get the tire replaced lol.

If you are a Sam's Club member...

Whether you bought the tire from them or not, you can get your tire repaired for free as long as your are a Sam's Club member!

Cool deal that hardly anyone takes advantage of...

LOL I assume you work at a place that does tires. That stuff is probably the most irritating part of doing tires lol.
