fuel pump controller

fuel pump controller

does anyone know where the fuel pump controller on a wrx is located i look online and it says the controller is located in the trunk behind the trunk trim can't find it can someone help me thanks. pic would help if possibly.

Car Info: 01 Impreza RSTi, 08 Evo MR, and 13 XV
right side trunk (passenger side). peel back the liner and it will be on a metal panel that separates the rear quarter panel and trunk. the controller is mounted on the inside of that metal panel and will be facing the quarter panel and that is probably why you cannot see it. if i remember correctly it is mounted with one or two 10mm bolts.

thanks 4 the info also does a 02 rs fuel pump control located in the same place?

only wrx's have a fuel pump controller, its some magical turbo related thing.

the fuel pump controller takes orders from your ecu on your wrx's/sti's. it decreases and increases voltage as needed to supply more fuel as needed. that is why when you don't run a fuel pump controller you will tend to run rich because you are applying the full voltage.

nah its not too bad ive been driving for about 2 years without one on my swap,1st i was lazy then when i was acutally gonna do it i remembered i used my harness for it on 4080wrx car
