Crap! I spent too much $$$ on parts!!

Oh well...maybe next month.

Pat, don't feel too bad. You'll be running laps on a MUCH nicer track sooner than most of us will!

That's the same as it has been. The first event (orientation run) was $50, though.

Where? I'm actually not familiar with any road courses in IN. I do plan on making some road trips next summer to neighboring states.

Joey, I'd pay twice that (depending on how many laps I actually got.) You've got probably 400% more seat time than I do, though.

WRXGRL, did you take any photos? Post them up if you did.

I thought IRP had a road course facility, or doesn't the Indy 500 track have one on the infield? I'd be really shocked if the Indy / Bloomington area didn't have a nice road course.

I did a search, and found this: http://www.irponline.com/HOME/IRPFanGuide/IRPFAQ.asp

From surfing around that site, it looks like they have "Test & Tunes", and the facilities ARE able to be rented by car clubs, etc..

Edit for new link: http://www.irponline.com/HOME/RaceDi.../julytandt.asp

Looks like a lot of good stuff mentioned in that article. SCCA, road course, etc... I couldn't find anything with dates & prices, but I'm sure we'll come across it soon.

From April through October, IRP’s quarter-mile drag strip, .686 mile paved oval and the 15-turn road course, will feature over 100 days of exciting action.
