Darn

Does anyone on island have any experience with the RS-R ex mag GT II?? I was wondering if anyone knew how to take the silencer off this exhaust????

Heat the can up with a propane torch first, maybe?

I tried running the exhaust warming it up. Shutting down the car and pullinh at it with a vice grip but it still wouldn't budge. Then I thought to myself shouldnt heat make the silencer expnad?? So I iced it down used the vice grip again and still would move?? I saw some pictures of the exhuat witout the silencer but I dont know how they were able to tug it off?? Can anyone help a deperate, lost chump out??

spray it down with some WD40... that should fix it.

You don't want to run the car to heat up the can because that's going to heat it from the inside out expanding the silencer as fast or faster than the can.

You want to use a low-heat propane torch on the outside/tip of the muffler to expand IT - but not the silencer - then knock it loose...

So I finally got the silencer out. Took some really creative thinking but it worked in the end. If anyone decides to buy this exhaust in the future and has the same problem you can let me know.
