Great car, insane price, crap transmission.

For sure, it's neat and makes the weight balance great. I had the opportunity to daily drive an '03 Z06 for 3 months and it's a truly incredible car (I stand by that no matter who doesn't like Amerikan cars, whateva). It's just that the automatic isn't suited for the car and from what I have heard it's clunky and inelegant shifts ruin the spirit of the car. Basically the same unit in the Camaro (RIP).
