The wheels and tires barely fit right now.
They only rub when I hit like a major bump or dip going fast. I think the stiffer suspension helps because it doesn't let the rear bottom out like the stock suspension. Either way, the guys here at TiC are renting a fender roller so I'll be getting mine rolled just in case I go crazier.
I think I can fit 255s if they make that width before I start rubbing on the struts. At that point, might have to get an aggresive alignment or spacers. I dunno.

No to the roof rail delete.
Unlike most people I don't think it makes it look any better for the work/money it'd take to do it. Plus, not really into the whole looks thing anyways. If it'll make the car faster than perhaps.

of course it will make it faster, less wind resistance. oh wait never mind a WRX already has the aerodynamics of a brick through the air.

^^^Thanks...funny story...well not super funny.
A the last Auto-X a dude brought out a nice black new GTI. I mean it was really nice looking. Problem was that he had dropped that sucker as low as he could and the tires had like an inch or less space from the fender.
The event was at Ky. Speedway parking lot so they set up this loop-dee-loop at the start (it was kinda fun but my old stock setup didn't like it and basically scrubbed the front tires all the way around). The guy started his first run and right as he hit the apex of the loop his car fender started rubbing...really badly...like REALLY BADLY. So the guy pulls completely off the track rather than finish his run, (I'm laughing) he then pulls his car into the paddock and jacks it up looking for something broken. Someone then had to go up to him and explain why hiw "show" setup doesn't work so well for actual performance. After that, he was able to raise it a little bit and get in some clean'ish runs before his heat was over.
Anyways, textbook example of why dropping your car isn't smart at all.
