These are mine. Supposedly US STi heads and cams:
http://gpatmac.us/SubaruPics/New_Eng...CT/Heads_2.jpg, http://gpatmac.us/SubaruPics/New_Eng...CT/Heads_3.jpg

These are certified authentic:
http://gpatmac.us/SubaruPics/New_Eng..._parts_021.jpg, http://gpatmac.us/SubaruPics/New_Eng..._parts_022.jpg, http://gpatmac.us/SubaruPics/New_Eng..._parts_023.jpg, http://gpatmac.us/SubaruPics/New_Eng..._parts_024.jpg, http://gpatmac.us/SubaruPics/New_Eng..._parts_025.jpg, http://gpatmac.us/SubaruPics/New_Eng..._parts_026.jpg

Now I know that they obviously don't look the same. What I'm looking for is, did Subaru use variations of their cams? Also, are the first 8 pics above of STi or WRX cams?

I'm emailing Quirt Crawford, Ron @ Axis, and Dan Paramore to see if they can't help me out.

Thanks

Ah. No, I got the email of your original post, but didn't see a PM. You're my bruddah!

No, I'm not selling the block, just the heads. Unfortunately, what I thought were US STi heads and cams complete may potentially STi heads w/ WRX cams.

I'm researching. (Do you believe that the heads and cams are 1 1/2 times the price of the block? )

Told you, should have just had head work done to your stock heads then you would know what you have and they would essentailly be new just like the block..

USDM STi cams don't have the notches for wrenching like any of the JDM or USDM cams. Also, the USDM STi cams should have extra oil holes on its ends.

Hopefully, Subaru did come out with different variations for the USDM STi cams or, maybe you might have JDM STi cams (crossing my fingers for RA cams).

Best of luck and hope this is resolved.

Thanks Chris. Yeah, these are certainly not US STi cams. Hopefully I can convince Kian Shirdel, aka Kaos200 on Nasioc, to give me a refund.

Hey, can I send you what I owe you? I haven't found it yet, but it should be in one of these boxes. I'll be happy to send you cash, too. Whatever is your preference.

Thanks again, dude.

hey just to clear up we found out they were indeed JDM STi heads/cams, they had 25 stamped on the heads so when I bought them I thought they were USDM, but according to Ron that's not the case, but the cams are def JDM he says (USDM has a weird press on lobe as seen above) and the cams have the avcs oil holes in them.
I shoulda kept them now I may be able to control avcs since we have harness's at the shop

Kian, sorry. I believe I let everyone in the HIIC know (in another thread IIRC) that they were good heads and that you weren't scamming me.

Everyone, Kian is a good dude who loves Subarus and the 'community'.

Yessir, I am home for a good long pull.

Project is going slowly but is progressing. I blew ringlands, so I am about to pull the engine and put in some CP's. Then I'll strap your heads, some headers I bought, a hyper single clutch, and a wide-assed dp on.

What's new with yours?
