Alignment shops

Anyone knows any good alignment shops that can do alignment to recon specs. I know Scotty's and island brakes but I heard they bumped up alignment price. Any cheaper ones around?

What do you mean by alignment to recon specs?

Do you mean that some shops won't do alignment on recon specs, or that only some shops have the capabilities to do an alignment on recon specs?

he means he's going to get recon and needs an alignment and supporting documentation to pass. any alignment shop should be able to do this.

The last time I went to Scotty's it was 86 but now it's like 140. I know you need a certain alignment for recon specs. I'll call around. Rads do alignment now? And I know some alignment shops don't do drop cars.

^^^^. I had Island Brake and Alignment do my car after installing my coilovers and they set my car up within recon specs. I didn't actually get a recon yet, but it was good to know that they were capable of getting it done with the necessary paperwork.

recon used to require the alignment within 30 days of the inspection so unless that's changed make sure you have an appointment before going. otherwise you'll have to go back and get new paperwork from the shop and they might want to charge you for another alignment.

Alignment in Tuesday and recon on Wednesday. I'll call tomorrow to make appointments.

$100. But it's cheaper if everything is stock.

Island Tire and Brake (if you want a "specific" camber/toe)...most autocross and people that want an exact alignment goes here...they will put both sides almost identical. Very happy with results.

RAD...they have a new alignment machine that is awesome. I recently took my Forester there to have aligned...I believe they can be as accurate as the Island Tire and Brake guys but they pretty much put it in spec....probably costs a few extra $$ to get it exact. Very happy with results.

I use to go to Lindsey's near the McKinley car wash...but there alignment was pretty much "spec" only...nothing fancy or special...cheap though. Happy with results back in the days when I wasn't so particular and used stock rims/tires.

Island Tire and Brake = $$$
RAD = $$
Lindsey's = $$
