Alignment,

I want to get a performance alignment before track day. I've added a lot of suspension parts since the last one. Problem is, one of the sleeves for a bolt on my Noltec front sway bar links is missing. It may come next week, but if not, can I get the alignment anyway? What I'm asking is, will the links make a difference?

Yes, you can get an alignment. Your sway bar is not an adjustible item, as far as an alignment goes.

And Might I recommed going to Pacific Automotive on Queen street.

Sway bar is not adjustable,

and the links don't matter either, huh? And that's where I got my first alignment (I think you recommended them) and was very pleased with the work they did. I always recommend them. They even had the camber bolts in stock. Thanks.

I have an appointment

for Friday morning, this Friday. I haven't done the alignment yet. I'm hoping my part for my Noltec endlinks arrives tomorrow and Farid calls me to tell me I have a drivers side Bride seat rail to pickup. That way I won't have to do both Friday night. I believe there's a vacant appointment at 9:00 am tomorrow morning. Are you lookng for alignment specs? I can recommend a few.

I don't remember how much it was,

but with the rear camber bolts the first time, I think it was somewhere between $120-$150. I'm going with - 2.5 camber front, MAX castor front, and 0 toe front. Rear - 2.0 camber, 0-2mm toe out. Bear in mind these are not street or sport settings. These are the middle of the road Whiteline race specs. Go Big or Go Home! Of course these specs will be modified if the rears won't support that much camber. If that's the case, the rear will be .5 less than the front.

My appt. is for Friday, too. (I guess you're the one they were referring to). So long as my boss doesn't get any wild-hair-in-*** ideas, I'll see you there.

I a a proud member of

the United States Air Force. My boss knows I would give my life to defend the freedoms that made this great country. He also knows he's not getting squat if I have car stuff to do.
