I have never heard of X Brand oil ever f'ing up an engine. But I have heard of laziness and incompetence in not doing the bare minimum of checking fluid levels.

My Evo X has ran exclusively Mobil 1 synthetic since I bought it almost 3 years ago. The factory even recommends it. If there was such a big problem with Mobil 1, Mitsubishi would not recommend it.

Finally show me definitive info regarding blown motors or any kind of F up because of Mobil 1 and I will call them a liar. Mobil 1 would have lawsuits up the *** if they did.
