Does anyone know anything about these cars? I am doing some searching right now to see how many after market suspension parts are made for these cars. From what I here these are VERY rare.

these were sick cars back in the day...in europe. they had the Celica GT4 over there

They're solid cars as a platform for future mods. They put out 200hp/200ft./lbs.. Expect a bit of lag though. I see a superclean black one in the UH parking structure all the time w/a huge FMIC. Looks great. I believe these Celicas have also been used for rallying back in the day.

Yeah do you guys know any places that make aftermarket parts for them? I am on the celica forums trying to find stuff out right now. I have to have a track car, and this thing would be nice. I am also considering a 240, or RX-7, but the RX-7's are all N/a, so they are not as quick as I would like. I wonder how strong the all-trac tanny is.

Nate, we (mostly me) would love to see a Celica all trac in action! :D

sneezerboi 01-15-2005 05:42 PM

Yeah, dude...I hear they're pretty beefy, has virtually the same motor as the 2nd gen MR-2 (3S-GTE), and does the 1/4 in the upper 14s stock.

Did you check out these sites?

the car is pretty solid (my friend has one) and they are rare.

keirnna 01-15-2005 08:20 PM

Yeah this ass will not sell it now. I was ready to go get a loan from the bank, but he just said he is not selling it now. I am going to go test drive an RX-7 in a little while, but it is an auto. :(

from what i can find JIC, ground controll, TRD japan, and KYB make coilovers (or shocks/struts in KYB's case) for that car. there are also a few company's that make swaybars. suspension techniques makes a front/rear swaybar combo for around $330. cusco also makes a front strut tower bar. hope this helps. took me 5 min to find a few places so i'm sure you won't have a problem getting parts. try FH for used parts or ask the guy that works at speedgear, he has a celica i think that he drifts. damn, 5 min wasted. ;)

Why aren't you leaving until April?
Why aren't you leaving until April?
I need to see some things out. I also need to finish a statistics class I took an incomplete on, because it is the last class I need for my assosiates. I can come back sooner, and I may. If I finish this class the way things are now I will have my car shipped to AZ and get it working then come home.
