cobb accessport/mechanic or dealer question
 

hey guys! this is for you guys that work at subaru dealers or know about the COBB AP
so i am planning to buy a cobb access port for my 2014 wrx and i was really curious. If i were to tune it to stage one and before i take it to the dealer for maint, and i take off the tune. Is there any way the dealer could find out that i have tuned the car?

With the experience I have had in the central valley, if your going in for routine maintenance such as oil.change tire rotation then your ok doesn't matter about your tune. Now with major mechanical issues uninstall your A then give them your cat to perform the maintenance task

Yeah what ^ he said never take your car in for major repairs with a custom map... all bad lol... although some stealerships might check your maps just to be a douche so the call is yours. Highly unlikely but you never know
