brake swap

gonna be swapping my brakes over to the 06-07 wrx 4/2 pot calipers. does anyone know if i need to change the master cyl at all? looked around on different forums and i can't find any info.

wasnt there a good reason Subaru went back to the floaters? I remember reading it somewhere.

But, if you are trying to upgrade the brake system...isn't there better ways of improving the system?

For some odd reason, I think you shouldn't be going to just OEM pots unless they are from an STI, aftermarket brembos, ap racing, or stoptechs.

I know what you mean about there not being to much info on brake swaps for MY08+, although I havent done any research myself, except drooling over these...

Have to agree, unless you have them sitting around in your garage, even then wouldn't bother. Just get some braided lines and some pads, alot cheaper..or an aftermarket bbk

ahh. i figured the 06-07 brakes would be a cheaper swap for 4/2pot calipers than the sti swap. but even then, the master cyl would probably need to be swapped as well yes? hmmm, research research
