avo turbo kit

Hey everybody don't know if this is the right place to post this or not but I have a 2011 2.5I. I was looking for a turbo kit I found avo makes one and they say its safe to run with stock internals around 8 to 10 lbs of boost.the kit cost 3000 then I need bigger injecters and fuel pump.I was curious to see if anyone thinks its a good idea and was wondering if it would be a noticeable difference in power.

Thanks. Jordan

There is a difference, but for the amount of money you pay to get it all done correctly...it wouldn't be worth it. If you really want the extra power, I would do a full wrx or sti swap instead.

In that case I should prob a buy a project subaru or b trade mine in for a wrx my car on has 23000 miles on it but I need more power its not cutting it haha

You bought the wrong car if you had any expectations for "power". Almost all stock engine, turbo'ed 2.5i/RSs eventually fail.

I want to get a 2011 wrx but I had a child and my wife didn't let me get the wrx..my child passed away 3 months later so now I need my dream car

Sorry to hear about your child. That must have been a difficult time.

Im terribly sorry about your loss. Honestly your best bet would be to sell the 2.5i and get the car you really want before your current car depreciates any more value.
