Car Info: Pearl Blue 2000 impreza rs

need a new exhaust

I have a 2000 impreza rs i have a flowmaster exhaust system but i hate the damn muffle it is sooooo loud and doesn't have any silencer to come with it. I have to drive from oklahoma to colorado about 10 times a year and now im just annoyed with it. What is a good muffler to put on my car that's not overly expensive but looks good and sounds good? I looked at an apex N1 if anyone knows anything about that one let me know thanks

the stromungs have a real nice low bass tone, but it isn't anywhere close to being as intrusive as your cheap *** flowmaster (i have one myself, i hate it too

) but i think the stromungs start getting pricey when you begin to look at stainless steel. IMHO, stainless is the way to go, otherwise you end up like me; loud exhaust made louder by rust craters and pockets.
