Gonna turbo my 2.5i
FNG here. Just bought a 2006 Impreza 2.5i. It's pretty clean and has 100,000 miles on it, paid $3,000. So I do not mind spending a little money on it.
I've read literally a hundred threads all saying to swap motors, etc. however I do not feel that's necessary. I know a 10:1 CR with cast pistons + boost is not the best idea however I think 6 psi and good tuning will be fun and still somewhat reliable.
Getting married in a month so I have to wait until all that is paid for and done before I can start spending.
Plan on using the AVO kit, tuning and upgrading the fuel pump as well as the injectors.
All I ask is for recommendations for tuning. Who knows their stuff? That's IMO the most important part.

Supercharger would prob be a better idea. Raptor makes kits for n/a Subarus
