Exhaust choices

well i couldnt get the title to change on my other thread so i made a new one.

I am going to get a new exhaust installed soon on my 2002 2.5rs and am going to go with either HKS, Greddy, or Borla. Which one of these do you guys like best ? Which is the best value and will produce the nicest/loudest boxer sound. I am gunna go to the shop that will be doing the install in about a week so what should i be looking for price wise including install and parts and such.

Which of these exhaust do you think is best for my 2002 2.5rs?

I got magna flow on my 04'wrx and I love the way it sounds! Very bassey sound. If you want my opinion on one of the choices that you gave, borla all the way! Im not sure of the price but Im sure someone here can help with thath.

i only have a 2.2 but i just installed a magnaflow and when you first start its kinda raspy but once you get going its very deep and on idle it can barely be heard. Very cool.

yea i am pretty sure i am going to go with a borla, anyone have any thoughts on a borla exhaust for my 02 2.5rs. Also what would i be loking at paying for everything, parts and installation?

The manifold will run $299 plus shipping, and there are two exhaust choices that will work for your car... (I think)

the hush catback system, which runs $599, and is only 2db louder than stock, and the regular system which runs $475. I've heard the full system is pretty loud, some people like it and some don't. if it's your daily driver you may not want the extra volume from the regular borla exhaust system.

but hey, where are you located? if you live decently close to me, I'll help you install it. It's easy - and there's no reason you should pay someone to do it. I like to work on a barter system - you make me food, I work. ;)

btw - this is the exhaust I've discovered that I want, reading all the reviews and doing research. but I'm going to put in a resonator basically in the stock location, just to make sure that drony high pitch crap the ricers love is gone.
