Wooshing sound
 

Whats going on,

i had a battle with a CEL for the last few months and dealer finally traced it back to some faulty engine wire harness. So they went ahead and replaced it.

Got the Car back, and seemed all good, head to work the next morning, and while getting on the freeway, i could hear a wooshing sound as i was accelerating, and as i shifted in to the next gear i could hear to even more, it sounds just like a bov but i dont have any mods for my car to make this sound, plus it never made it before they worked on my car, so im taking it back to the dealer tomorrow and have them take a look at it, i was wondering if this might be something someone else has experienced with a 13 wrx, i searched around and found maybe something with the inter cooler not being replaced properly? oh well just thought id ask around thanks

Sounds like you have a boost leak somewhere.

Is it whooshing while under load or right when you let off?

i think i can hear it while under load, but defo when i take my foot off,
