+1.

the first mod you should get is experience. You have a great car as it is and need to get used to how an STi feels and drives and also how to drive before you start increasing your power. Then go with the Cobb accessport.

Cobb accessport and turboback would be a great bang for the buck.

DTO808 09-08-2006 05:42 PM

its like they all said, you're still young and should get used to your car before anything.

1sicwrx 09-08-2006 06:26 PM

What everyone else said. You are very lucky to have that car, you should really learn how to drive before you kill yourself.

azn_ryder02 09-09-2006 04:02 PM

couldnt agree more

Agree 100%

I have to agree with everyone else here. I had a WRX for a year, then a Mazda and now Im back with an STI. I couldnt believe the amount of power that the STI has compared to the WRX. Its an amzing machine and should be treated with respect, I will even admit that it was too much for me at first after a few months its nomral, sure I want to mod it but I figure a full year behind the wheel and a little track time with it before I start upgrading parts on it. Your car is cool as it is, it wont be if you wreck it after bumping it up another 30-40 horsepower.

take that first bit of money you were going to spend on mods and take a drivers training course at a road course

Weak Sauce 09-09-2006 07:30 PM

SCCA events and driving instruction. Nothing makes a car faster like a better Driver.
