oes anyone make a cat-back test pipe?
 

reason i ask is that i often track at Pocono and there are no restrictions on sound. so people can run no exhaust, etc.

i would prefer to have a cat-back test pipe that looks like an exhaust so i can drive it to the track without swapping in at the track.

I dont know what the heck a test pipe is. Can you explain it to me?

TRM- where do you live? i have a good muffler guy that does all my stuff.

a test pipe is pretty much the exhaust except for no resonators, no muffler of any sort. just plainly a pipe that's only for "testing" that can be taken off and repl. with the oem exhaust.

hey, thanks. i have a local shop (Pennsylvania) that will do the work. but, of course, they will need my STi for a few days to properly design and fit the test pipe. cost will probably be under $400 for the design and build.

if there was already an aftermarket version i would opt for that since it's much quicker.

Is it just a straight pipe? If so my brother had a shop fabricate one for him. He only paid like $200
