My AP wtf

I got an 'unmarried' V1 off some dude on nasioc, it had no maps on it so I had to go through getting it to sync up to my computer right and when I finally got maps on it today I went to reflash and WHAMMY!! It initialized, then said 'This ecu is already in use with Accessport, Halting Operation', WTF is all this nonsense?? Is there a fix??

i think you just remove your battery power cable for a good hour or over night or something and replug it back in. ifthat doesnt work then i guess the dealer would do and you just flash it back with the cobb ap that you have.

Yea ur right, so cobb said i have to hook it up and hold down all 4 buttons to put it in service mode, then it sends my ecu back to stock, then send it to them and they can reset my AP bc once u use it in service mode it needs to be reset as well, what a pain in the *******...

is cobb going to charge you? thats messed up if they do because they told you to do that. but if you have to only pay for shipping then i think thats fine. keep us posted. since this is a first i have heard with someone trying to marry their ap to a car already with an ap.
