2015 subaru wrx blow off valve

hello subie friends,


i was a question has anyone out there install a GFB blow off valve on their 2015 wrx and know the proper adjustment my car stall when i rev the car it goes under 1000rmph and it does not idle normally

If it's not a reciculating bov, do your motor a favor and reinstall the stock bpv. Its most likely idling like crap because your AFR is out of whack. atmosphereic (ones that don't recicrculate) BOV's should only be installed on cars running high boost.
If yours is reciculating.. I don't know why your idle is off. Most come preset to prevent such issues.

There shouldn't be any problems like this. It just needs to be adjusted properly.

Yeah. Our cars require a bpv (full recirculating) or they run like crap.

The air comes in through the intake filter, passes the MAF sensor that measures how much air there is. When the bpv releases, the car is already counting on that air being recirculated back into the intake and adds the appropriate amount of fuel. If you have a bov (vent even partially to atmosphere) then you are releasing the air that your car is eexpecting to be using. Now its adding fuel but not getting enough air, making you run super rich...

The only way to properly run a bov is to get tuned for it. Your tuner can adjust afrs to compensate for the lost air.
