Torque on block drain plugs?

I'm going to be trying to COMPLETELY drain my engine of the stock coolant mix to switch over to NPG+.

Anyone know what the torque specs are for the drain plugs on the bottom of the engine? (The two 14mm hex keyed plugs)

those bolts get tightened to 50.6 ft-lbs

however when draining the coolant system, you don't need to access the "service hole plugs"

Thanks for the info... :)

I figured that I would need to use those drains if I wanted to actually get almost every drop out of the whole system.

(I'm replacing my coolant with NPG+ which is NOT compatible with water...)

Are you going to have to let the engine air dry :D

I thought about doing that...but the complete drain sounded like a pain. Doesn't the water rise to the top and you can just suck it off?
