im assuming faster on freeway in high rpms, and not as good at slower speeds? i dont know
yeah tuning wise im clueless... i just want to hear/feel my car
i dont even know about sensors or anything in the exhaust, like if it would throw a check engine light.
my borla with welded silencer put on by previous owner is just too quiet

yes I believe there is a tuning issue because I met a guy around my area with a cut out and he said his tuner (mike) had troubles tuning his car. But this was way way way back then. ewg and cutout abou tthe same sound
I have the QTP cut out down pipe mated to a s*rs cat back. they run about $550 with shipping. 2 problems I've had with it is 1) It's a divorced wastegate and the plate that seperates the 2 exhaust ports got in the way of the wastegate fully opening and I ran uber boost and hit fuel cut a few times before I found out what was wrong...easy fix, just dremmeled it a little thinner in the middle and cut a little notch in the top to let the wastegate swing by. 2) after a while of opening and closing the valve it doesnt close as tight because of the over-torque. it's hard to not do this. but I only use it at the track so a little rvt around the bottom half keeps it nice and tight. You can tell a major difference in hp/tq. spools alot faster and if you do use it on the hwy practically no lag. but it does get annoyingly loud after a while

its going to be like running an open downpipe, which gives you less low end torque. yes, LESS low end torque
oh, and supposedly they break pretty frequently.

I had one, car was slower. went from 13.3-13.4 to 13.6-13.7 consistantly. took it offand bought a new down pipe and am right back to 13.3s again. waste of the money spent on the cut-out and my stromug dp. by the way its forsale pm me to buy it.
