Need some help guys!!!

I was just out driving my car, and all of the sudden it will no longer let me rev past 4k RPM without hesitation/backfiring. I'm not sure what it is, but it almost feels like you're hitting the rev limiter, only at 4K instead of 7K. There's NO odd noises 0-4K RPM, and it feel normal until I hit that.

I already tried resetting the ECU, and that didn't help...

Tried swapping MAF sensor... didn't help...

It must be in limp mode or something, but there's no CEL, and I have no clue what could be causing it.

My car is modified with everything from Exhaust to Turbo...

ANY IDEAS!!?!?!?

Maybe you got some bad gas??

You probably had a high knock count and you got OwNeD by your ECU.

Either that, or something worse...but my guess is that you are running pig rich.

You have the STi injectors, don't you?

Any ideas? A whole bunch - could be anything from exhaust to turbo? ;)

Sorry to be a jackdonkey, but seriously, if you would like help, please list your mods, and try to go into a little more detail abuot what happened. Especially if you NEVER got a CEL. As that is usually a tell-tale sign of some other problem, but the fact that you are probably in limp mode, and NEVER got a CEL could help to narrow it down.

Reset your ECU...

That is my recomendation. If that doesn't fix it, give TXS a call, your unichip may have taken a $hit.
