Thanks man. I've gotten some decent advice from others here and elsewhere, but lesson here for everyone is don't bother with cold water, I mean air intakes :brick: |
Your engines spinning, it sounds like your just not getting spark. I know you said you swapped plugs, but are you checking for spark? Double check that your actually getting spark by grounding it while someone else is turning the engine over. I would even try a little starter fluid to see if you can get it to cough over to burn the junk out.

Lemme give that a try...high hopes. |
So...
Tried cranking it again tonight. No dice, but after I had taken out the intercooler (am selling that), I just wanted to see what would happen if I tried tuning it on, and it did cough again, briefly, and more so than the last time I got it to do that. Afterwards, I saw some crap in the compressor outlet: light brown water, little cheese flecks, not sure how else to describe it. Water and oil emulsion? There also was a fair amount of water that was not there before that spilled out of the TMIC after I pulled it off. Previously, I had dried it out completely. Gonna disable the fuel pump and crank it some more, see what else comes out. Also interesting: the lights flickered in time with the starter when I first tried turning it on. Got better then second time around. I've never had that happen. I'm wondering is this isn't just an electrical issue. And yes yes, I need to check the plugs for spark still. Saturday... |
