Help:whiich FMIC is better?

I am in the market for a FMIC. I want to get the Biltz but not sure. The Greddy is much cheaper but the piping looks kind of small. Basically I had one of these two FMIC in mind. Any suggestions? OR any alternative FMIC's to consider?
Thanks

Your name has Blitz on it! :D
Alternative FMIC: TurboXS, Injen (Just released).
Performance-wise I am not sure which is supposed to be the best,
all I know is you have to find out which ones affect your OE bumper
beam support and whether the stock Intake needs to be replaced
to make room for the FMIC.

Aps...

APS DR-725 FMIC w/black powdercoat. Biggest FMIC that'll fit the WRX, Fit/Finish are quality,. Got one and highly recommend it...

I have the blitz fmic and it is good the only thing is that you have to cut you bumper and remove you bumper beam but other then that it is good to me

I've heard many good things about the Blitz as well. If you don't want to cut your stock bumper beam, I think replacing it with a JDM bumper beam will work fine with the Blitz FMIC. I think you'll have to get rid of your stock fog lights too if I recall correctly.

But don't quote me on any of this ;)

APS is not a wise choice unless you have a large turbo and a lot of WHP

This has been discussed many times before. Get a Blitz or the new TXS FMIC. I'm actually leaning towards TXS myself. Seems like a really well put together kit. Even comes with a new bumper support beam to make install even easier. Plus its a bar/plate core which is better than Blitz's tube/fin core.

Seriously. Have you seen the APS FMIC, GDBlitz? If you have the money that is what you should buy, HANDS DOWN. The Greddy is doo doo. The piping in the obvious parts is fairly large... but follow it further down and it steps down to what looks like a drinking straw. DOO DOO I SAY!

yup! actually the two fmic's you have listed, the greddy and the blitz, you have to both cut the bumper beam, and lose the fog lights, i say go with the blitz, its worth the money, and imh looks better :D

well... bar/plate vs tube/fine doesn't make much of a difference with the fmics on WRX's... ppl with blitz fmics still putting out insane #'s and i'd say the difference wouldnt' be over 5whp between a blitz / TXS,

i have the TXS v.2 myself and i think its a good fmic, but one pipe rubs against the hood... nothin major but its still a kink...

more or less its up to preference and budget...

Thanks for the input! I Just bought a TurboXS FMIC.

Is it just me or does the new TurboXS front mount kit have a really cheesy bumper beam? I mean, when I pulled everything out of the box the replacement beam was bent on the end, so I just grabbed it and easily bent it back. The welds on the intercooler seemed somewhat messy as well. Just seems like they through the kit together as quickly as possible.

I've been thinking of just turning around and selling it with it still being brand new, but everyone keeps talking about how great of a kit it is so I've held on to it. Am I just being too picky? Going to a FMIC is already a good chunk of money and I'd rather invest in a good kit now instead of having it break within a few years. Everything else seems pretty good and I like how it maintains the fog lights whereas the Blitz and Greddy you have to remove them. I dunno, just some thoughts I had about the TurboXS's new kit.

APS is only for big hp applications.

turbo xs also comes with a bov. Also the same price as the blitz. Bar and Plate is always a plus.
