DP question?
I do have the HKS carbon/Ti exhaust right now and put onto the stock DP a while ago. Just found out it leaks because on the stock flange which is 2.5 inchs and my HKS is 3 inchs. It looks like not a match set up. I'm interesting in HKS downpipe, so I wonder if it will fit on my HKS exhaust. What I heart is my HKS is JDM version and it may not fit the US HKS DP. How can I found out if mine is US HKS or JDM HKS? Any advice will be great.
Thanks Andy |
whats different from the JDM and the USDM and you might want to spell check that

Where did you get your HKS?
The length diff between JDM and USDM is about 2" so if you get them to meet up, you have the USDM exhaust and HKS downpipe will mate perfectly with the exhaust. |
I brought it used when it only had 100 miles on it from a friend. I wasn't the one who put it on, my friend was, but the dealer took it off for me and that's what they told me my HKS exhaust don't fit on the stock DP flange. They didn't mention anything about the length tho. So I think I may have the USDM one then, right Alex??
How can I find out anyway? Do I have to measure it? What's the length of JDM and USDM? Thanks Andy |
Sounds like USDM. JDM is waaaaay too long comparing to the USDM one.

Thanks Alex

try looking into another dp instead of the hks. There are other dp's out there that offer a full bellmouth or a divorce gate dp.
