blitz turbo timer question

I just installed my blitz turbo timer fatt dc III on my 04 wrx, but i got a problem. Sometimes, when i start the engine, the turbo timer starts to counting down, like when you turn off your car. Well, after the count down ended or when i release the handbreak, the turbo timer will be off for like 2 seconds and then it will turn on and run normally. I don't have any problem with the turbo timer when i turn off my car or while driving. The problem is only when i start the engine.

My brother has the Blitz D1 turbo timer and i know that his doesn't do the count down when he starts his car.

Is it has something to do with the ignition?
Did i install something wrong? But it doesn't seem like it.
Is this normal on the 04 wrx?
I'm really worry about that, so if anyone knows anything, i'd appreciated a lot.

I have the DTT DC II and this happend to me 1 time and it hasnt happend since. Has it been doing this since day 1 or did it work fine in the begining. Have you been leting it count down with the A/C on? If you are you might want to make sure you dont in the future because it can harm the unit. Your best bet might be to e-mail blitz @ www.Blitz-NA.com or call them @ (626) 839-8350.

try grounding the wire that goes frome the hand break...that way the system will be independant of the handbreak
