Turbo Timer ?'s (any problems with alarm or remote?)

I was just wondering if there are any electrical problems after installing a turbo timer, for example with the alarm or remote key. I just want to make sure before I purchase a Blitz DTT for my 07 TR. Thanks.

I have a problem where sometimes my shock sensor will be set off by the exhaust rattling and in order to get the alarm to work you have to tap the e-brake wire and cut a few more in different spots. Its kinda a pain to get it to work but pretty cool when it does. There is a way to get around the shock sensor but it involves running a wire back to the sensor which is somewhere in the rear of the car. Hope this helps

turbo timers are fairly unnecessary on our cars. there was some extensive testing done and posted on the LGT forums with digital in and our temp sensors on the coolant lines.

(cant find link but im searching)

basically, with a stock or mostly stock car (stock turbo or small turbo) pulling into your driveway cools the turbo well below safe levels. unless you red line it into your driveway.

I don't have no problems with turbo timers whatsoever. Just remember your car is still running therefore your gas consumption increases depending how long it takes to cool off your car.

unless you're running an oil only cooled turbo, you don't need a turbo timer.

Well you can install one but its pointless if you still have the heat expansion tank on the car "metal tank with multiple hoses and a radiator cap".
