pro tune b4 or after move?
 
Going back to hawaii soon! Hearing good things about a few shops in nor cal. Problem is..... I dont know of any reputable tuners in hawaii. I know that every car should be protuned to meet its specific needs/conditions and that weather and elivation play a big role in it. If I get car tuned here, should I be fine when I get to hawaii? temp wise its about 5-10 degrees cooler there on a daily basis and it never really goes below 60. elevation wise, they are about 200-500 ft difference. I dont see a big issue, whats your 2 cents!

What mods do you have on your car? From what I read hawaii usually has tuners fly in periodically.

run the OTS stage 2 map from cobb and then get it tuned in hawaii

moto96793: You beat me to this same question that I was going to ask. The only thing that I have to add to your question is how often do tuners fly in and where and what shop do they usually go to? The only shop that I can really find is called Rad Motor Sport.

I spoke to ed over at EQ in fairfield via email and he stated that he has tuned a handful of subies that have been to oahu with no issues. I myself have seen rad via hawaii forum as well as another place called vakamon. I am originally from maui and the big thing there before i left was vtec, so i am a little iffy on finding the right person to tune my rex on oahu. ed also stated he is thinking about scheduling a trip out there for tuning, however, i feel that if we could find a group big enough to make it worth his while, he would have no problem. I am seriouly thinking about having him tune my stage 2, at his shop, minus the gsbcs and walbro so i have the cobb ots to fall back on if things dont work out right when i get there.
