ebcs installed only 12psi?

ebcs installed only 12psi?
recently purchased a cobb ap. Only able to hit about 16-16.5 psi. Was informed to purchase the perrin ebcs. Now installed only getting 12 psi. Do i need a special fuel map or maybe it doesnt work and im just getting mechanical boost? Help!
take off the boost controller
if your engine is stock i wouldnt push it that much more past 16.xx
you are asking for trouble
if you have to then go get a protune but still take off the boost controller
