Ap ver 1 help

Ap ver 1 help
I got a version 1 ap for my 05 Sti. I tried to marry I to the car. But I get a error message saying it's the incorrect ecu. I called Cobb and they have no idea to why it will not marry. Is there any way to update my ap to the latest firmware for my 05 Sti. It's suppossibly the newest 05 Sti like pre 06. Can someone help a brotha out. Thanks.

this issue just happened to me. but it asks to marry a base map first right? cause mine did the same initialized then gave me the same error, i dont think its that the ap is married its just faulty.. luckily i was able to send mine back
