9psi still...but why?

can somebody please help me out!?!?! i recently got my accessecu reflash so i took out my sbc-id. upon installing the reflashed ecu, i was only hitting 9psi of boost. i found out from reading some posts that i probably didn't have the stock brass resistor in a hose. i bought the part finally and installed it in the hose btw the T connector and the turbo nipple on the turbo outlet. however, i'm still seeing the exact same thing! what else could it be? i'm so freakin' confused now. thanks.....

yeah, me too. i'm only getting around 9psi, however, in 3rd, it slowly goes to 1 bar no more, no less. i have the stage 2 accessECU installed.

hey mista618, to install that brass thing, which way does the larger opening go? does it face towards the BOV or in the opposite direction?

anyone have the answer to the boost question?

another thing, do you think it's bad that i have the stage 2 reflash and driving the car around with the stock downpipe. i'm going to have it installed, however, i need to get to work and there are no other cars. is this detrimental to the engine, turbo, etc. any information, thought would be good, thanks

the install instructions on the vishnu site says that all reflashed ecu on first install start in the low boost mode. to switch to the normal boost mode, you do something like turn the key to the ON position then step on throttle and push the rear window defrost button.
