Alex, can you even see the fuel rails without sticking your head way down into the engine bay? And other than the admittedly great looks, what is the benefit?

Right now, I am using Perrin rails. They kinda work with my JDM AVCS heads, but not really. That is why I like these. They are JDM made for JDM.
Also, "hot" not always means "good looking". And yes, you can actually see the rails. They are pretty much in your face, btw. Plus, I prefer JDM parts over anything else and unless non JDM is the only option, I would not settle for that and now, JDM rails are available.

Alex, I totally agree with you on the high quality of JDM parts in general. However, I do feel there are some exceptions. For instance, I have yet to find a truly good bolt on JDM FMIC kit. The ARC FMIC is nice, but supposedly too small for an EJ257. So far, it seems APS makes the best one... have you heard of any that are better?
Anyway, back to the fuel rail. So, is the purpose of the fuel rail mainly to ensure even distribution of fuel among cylinders? Is that even an issue in the WRX and STi to begin with? Or when you say "work with your JDM AVCS heads", is it more of a physical/fitment issue?

Blitz, Trust and ARC make great bolt on FMICs for WRX's.
I prefer Trust kits because of the quality and piping size and design. The core is nice, but could have been better. Just like with these SARD items. Quality could not be better.
Fuel rail insures equal and sufficient distribution of fuel. It is not a must have, but I cannot use stockers because of my reversed intake manifold. It is a great upgrade though if you want to play it safe.
Yes, AVCS on JDM heads is a fitment issue. The injector clips must be rotated on the front 2 cylinders due to the AVCS selenoids. Also, the rail design make it impossible to pull out the connector without unbolting the rail which is a pain in the ***.

The tow hooks are the ones you see on JGTC cars in the front, some times you see it on peoples cars!
But these are universal meaning you have bend and weld or bolt on to the car!
