lol
Theres a lot to say between the two.
Just a rough idea;
WRX
___________
2.0L (pre 06)
5-sp
non Brembo 's
16 inch wheels (pre 06)
TD04 turbo
_______
STI
2.5L
6-sp
Brembo brakes
17's with better rubber ( and styling )
VF39 turbo
suspension parts
body work
interior
wing
and the list goes on....
If you have the cash, go for the STI.

Well to answer this is pretty easy. First and foremost you could not buy a wrx and upgrade it even close to an sti for the money you would spend for a stock sti. the sti has lighter and stronger everything, windows, trunk, hood, no noise deadening (not always a good thing) and the suspension, tranny and engine are just stronger and better. the '05 and up are better than the '04 because mostly of the upgraded wheel bearings and wider wheels. '04's have a real problem w/ the bearings and w/ brake rotor wobble which leads to caliper piston movement back into the caliper (trust me that is not a good thing at high speeds....no initial pedal at ALL). So a newer sti is a much better way to go if you can afford it. If money is tight you can get an older wrx but it will cost you an arm and a leg to upgrade to a sti beater. thought you would like to know.

Car Info: your mother crazy
the STI is an much hotter, much more fiesty mistress. better parts, sexed up interior, different drive train, more goodies, and a "fully functional" rear wing. theres also, i would argue, much more potential to get reemed. noob drivers crash them, crappy mechanics (dealerships) wreck their internals, and at the end of the day... you still have a big ***-fin on your trunk.
basically from the the ground up, the STi is a different car.
all that aside, it is one hell of a car

If you can afford it, and you're going to mod, the only reason to NOT use the STI is because you like the bugeye

Seriously, the STI is the better platform for mods from a performance standpoint.

1.) I was complimenting you....now I regret that.
2.) You own a twin turbo Supra (which I doubt), and that makes me a n00b how?
3.) I don't own a STI....
4.) There’s just too many things to list for the differences in years.
5.) By your grammar, English and punctuation skills I can tell you're under the age of 14.
