yay! got my ideapad back today... turns out that when your screen flickers out, it takes a new lcd, new backlight, new motherboard, and new inverter module to fix it all. sux cuz it was only like 2 months old at the time.

no more lugging my 18lb "laptop" aka mobile workstation home from work every day.

 

my macbook had some screen flickering issues. First they tried to fix it by replacing the hard drive

 

fixed.

 

so now the weekly threads include the weekends?

 

Well otherwise it'd be "the work-week" thread. But then you'd get everyone going "well technically today is my Saturday, so this should be the weekend thread."

I'm just waiting for "The Chronologically Irrelevant Random BS Thread"
