shift knob?

Im looking to install teh short shift and a new knob.
Im tossed between 2 knobs. I like the prodrive (4th one down on this site http://www.vividracing.com/prod_intshift.php ) and the Sti titanium knob.

My only question is the prodrive looks a little klunky, kind of large. which is more comfortable? What do you guys reccomend?

hi

i actually ordered short shifter, bushing and knob from vividracing.com today as well,i went with karboy short shift and bushing and 2 reasons y i went with a karboy knob,
1. i figured i might as well have the kartboy logo noticeable to go with the read of the short shift and bushing
2. im not paying over 40 bux for a damn knob, lol

Shift Knob

Hey, before you by any short shifter, check out the Cobb dual adjustable short shifter. This shifter can be adjustered for throw and height. As for the STI titanium shift knob, they look cool, but they are expensive and if you have normal sized hands it's unconfortable. Try a Kartboy knuckle ball and find your own center insert. Shift bushings do make a huge difference, but I went with cusco, which to me has the best feel. I installed all of the above gear in my 2000 2.5RS, which is modded and probably get more enjoyment out of the short shifter. One more thing, I recommend when installing short shifter, install a STI tranny mount and an STI rear diff mount, and then get it on.

sti....reasons?
-looks cool
-it's expensive, so it has to be good
-i have heard it's good for ~10hp
-after a full summer of having it, you will have a permanent 'sti' brand on the palm of your right hand....teh ladies love it!
-DF
edit: i have an sti, although i would entertain the idea of a fatter shift nob after owning the sti nob now
