Me and my friend both have 2002 WRXs. We both had the cold clutch shudder problem and had our clutches replaced. My friends car went in before mine and when he got it back it was smooth for the first few engagements then it started shuddering much worse than before. The shuddering got worse as the car warmed up. It was very rough and made the car difficult to drive. I went in a few days later and had mine replaced, turns out my car has the same problem although when it warms up its not as bad but still causes the car to have a shake and makes the engagement rough. Has anyone had this problem after getting their clutch replaced? Do you know of any solution to mention to the dealer so this doesn't happen again? The dealer says they have never seen this.

1 800 subaru 3 Call them and complane. I have a 2000 GT Wagon with 60,000 miles and I'm not happy with my clutch either.

 

Thanks for the input. They replaced the flywheel. They are going to open it up and take a look. It's just strange that it happened to both of our cars.
