boo hoo they wont cover my trans

heres a case.customer has 2 wrx's and takes out 3-4 gear set.later takes out the same in his other car.next first car takes out 3-4 agian and told him this is last time.he swears he is not beating on it.on a test drive with him,he slips up during talk and admits to beating on it racing.one week later he scatters the pressure plate and sends it buried into the trans.now
hes crying that to be covered.just for thought when everyone questions why we judge on this matter ,now you see are side.and yes the car has mods.

rexotua-when did you have the 3-4 gearset replaced-maybe you have the wrong tech working on ur car-also there is a updated 3-4 gear set that is a new to solve this problem-depending if this part was available at the time of your rebuild-the tech should have installed this new set-if you have the reciept with the date on it i would glady give you the new part numbers and when the parts update came available-you may have a case then-
CABAL-did you have to pay for the trans to be taken apart and put back together after the (dsm) said he wouldnt cover it- if you didnt-then subaru would have had to pay the tech for that work-it would have been wise for him to eat the parts also and make a subaru customer happy-something does sound right here-or ur (dsm) has no clue what he-she is doing to judge over the tech-unless the tech had no clue- i would take it higher-but in most cases the dsm is finally-

Ill keep you all updated, my court date is sept 29th. I would love to see SOA prove that I abused my car...hell I want them to prove to me that I abused it, at least then I would feel better that there was a reason for it to break with 4000 miles on the ODO. The law of averages, if we deny warranty to 100 people and only 10% sue, guess what? SOA doesnt lose money. Now if everybody would take action when a company takes advantage of consumer's rights then this BS would stop. No company has the right to deny a warranty unless they can prove that you did something to void it. Rant Rant Rant, blah blah blah.

the only other reason i can give you is that they didnt correct the shift forks.they are not adjustable, but selectable meaning that there is mulltiple forks with different offsets.or is it a abuse problem.sorry cant leave that out.

Every case is different fellas. All we know for sure is that there are certainly cases of babied cars breaking, and cars being abused breaking.

ok i just finshed the job today.and guess what, yes subaru did cover the repairs for him.even after stating that there was not going to be another warranty repair for him on his trans.glad to see that it happened this way and he should be happy.he launched the clutch so hard that it sent metal from the clutch into the starter.ill post some pics.if someone could help me thou.this owner had a (b.o.v) that he took off before he came in.he had to heat up and smash the cross over tubing on the inter-cooler to make it fit.does someone no of this design of b.o.v that needs to be done like this.obviously a stand off plate would have been in order here.a sticker under the hood named (bosal performance) is there if this helps.ty
